一、General Description
PN8232 is a high precision constant voltage and constant current primary edge controller. Charger and LED lighting for high performance, peripheral components streamlining. PN8232 work
In the original side detection and adjustment mode, optical coupler and TL431 can be omitted. The chip provides a full range of self recovery protection functions, including cycle by cycle overcurrent protection and overvoltage
Protection, open loop protection, over temperature protection, output short circuit protection and CS open / short circuit protection etc.. Very low chip starting current can meet the higher standby power standard.
In constant current mode, the current and output power can be adjusted by the Rs resistor on the CS pin. In constant voltage mode, the PFM mode can achieve higher performance and efficiency.
At light loads, the chip operates with smaller peak currents to reduce audio noise. In addition, the output line compensation function is helpful to obtain better load regulation rate.
